Lohajara Lake (taal) is the biggest and the longest lake of eastern regional Nepal . It lies in lohajara Village Development Committee, saptari District, sagarmatha Zone in estern Nepal. The main occupation of the people living around the area is agriculture and bussiness. People also rear domestic animals, schools and extract medicinal herbs and sell them for their living.
Thakur Baba’s Temple is situated in the centre of the lake. Local people believe that the god Thakur baba.
